Jupiter, Florida, U.S.A. Multi Parts Supply® (MPS®) today announced, in keeping with its tradition of providing scholarships through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium, it has established two additional $1,000 scholarships for 2013. These scholarships honor MPS’ colleagues, and customers for their business in 2012.

“Typically during the holidays, we purchase small gifts for our customers,” commented Brian Cohn, President Multi Parts Supply. “This year, we established these two scholarships to present our customers a more lasting gift – the tangible investment in our industry’s future.” Cohn continued, “I challenge our industry to follow suit. Today, our demand for talent outstrips our supply. We can change this one professional at a time. Along the way we give deserving young men and women the gift of a career in one of the most stable industries in North America.”

“I commend Brian and Barry Cohn for this thoughtful tribute to their customers and to the aftermarket,” said Pete Kornafel, GAAS scholarship chairman. “Our applicants in 2012 were some of the most outstanding scholars we’ve seen and the 2013 applications received so far are just as strong. We’re looking forward to outstanding attendance at GAAS 2013 and other generous donations so we can present a record number of scholarships next year.”
