MPS announced Chase A. Navarre was recently named Director of Engineering Strategy. Chase is the newest member of MPS’ U.S.-based engineering team. The team develops and refines critical engineering and manufacturing processes to ensure MPS auto care parts continue to set the high bar for quality and innovation. A member of MPS’ leadership team, Chase is tasked with driving the strategic engineering and technology vision of the global auto care parts company.
MPS announced it recently broke ground on its new global headquarters. MPS’ U.S. executive leadership, corporate administration, finance, engineering, program management teams, R&D, laboratory, quality control and on-car testing facilities will come together under one roof for the first time in the company’s more than 25 year history. MPS will also continue to maintain its integrated network of manufacturing and testing, logistics, quality control and customer support facilities in New York, Europe and China.
MPS announced Nannette Cassidy has been named Chief Financial Officer of Multi Parts Supply Group (“MPS Group”). With MPS since 2011, Ms. Cassidy’s promotion directly reflects the scope and growth of her corporate responsibilities. MPS Group President Brian S. Cohn states, “Nannette’s promotion says a lot about the growth MPS is experiencing. It says much more about Nannette.” Cohn continued, “Her competency, knowledge, creativity, negotiation skills, and decisiveness give MPS a serious edge. It also removes a significant amount of work from my plate, allowing me to focus my energy in other areas of the company.”
MPS is the first company and AAIA member to commit to the Latin Auto Parts Expo, being held for the first time in Panama City, Republic of Panama. MPS will be an exhibiting sponsor at the Expo July 9 through July 11, 2014. MPS’ on site show liaison is Ira Davis.
MPS announced it is making a $25,000 scholarship donation to the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS). The donation commemorates MPS’ 25th anniversary, which the company celebrates this year. MPS President Brian S. Cohn stated, “For 25 years, our mindset has remained always create opportunity for our customers and our employees. Our company has now reached a point where we can make an impact industry wide. Helping future generations find their own unique opportunity in and on behalf of our industry is both meaningful and necessary.” To date, the MPS $25,000 scholarship donation is the largest single pledge made by a privately held company.
