Grateful. That’s the word. Multi Parts’ global headquarters in Jupiter, Florida, is once again back to 100% operational. Hurricane Irma caused a power outage that lasted the better part of a week. Beyond this inconvenience, all of our Florida team members came through unscathed.
Many others were not so lucky. From the Caribbean to all of Florida and beyond, many people are hurting, having lost so much. Our thoughts are with them.
We are grateful for our team members across the world. As global citizens, we know that natural and manmade catastrophes can touch us anywhere, literally. Relying on a team-wide, painstaking process, Multi Parts has developed systems and procedures to weather almost any storm. Working from this game plan, team members across our company, in Shanghai, China, The Republic of Belarus and Buffalo, New York, USA, saw that Multi Parts’ operations continued uninterrupted. Preparation is no guarantee, but it has proven time and again our best hope.
Finally, nothing could have prepared us for all the friends from around the world who have called to wish us well. Thank you. We are well. And, happy to be back at work doing what we get to do.
