Multi Parts announced the SPARK2015 website is now live. Spark.multiparts.net is a resource for information on the SPARK2015 initiative, as well as the Luminaries, Guiding Lights and Volunteer Educators who have graciously joined Multi Parts to provide the SPARK2015 students with a front row seat to engage with the automotive industry at its finest.
Multi Parts announced the SPARK2015 Guiding Lights. The group of 19 professionals is volunteering its time during arguably the busiest days of the year. They are partnering with Multi Parts as part of this year’s SPARK Initiative. The Guiding Lights are providing students with access and insight into the aftermarket industry’s largest gathering, the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). The students will shadow Guiding Lights throughout their time at SPARK2015 and within the AAPEX show. SPARK2015 wouldn’t be possible without them.
Multi Parts announces SPARK2015 student participants. This year, Multi Parts’ SPARK2015 plays host to ten students, each of whom receive an all expense paid trip to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (“AAPEX”) being held at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, November 3-5, 2015. Essentially, SPARK2015 is a three-day industry immersion symposium, taking place within the AAPEX show. The SPARK Initiative was developed to introduce the next generation of aftermarket professionals to the industry at its largest, single event.
Multi Parts Supply has changed its name, shortening it to Multi Parts®. Coinciding with the name change is launch of the latest evolution of Multi Parts’ corporate website, multiparts.net 3.0.
Multi Parts recently instituted the Longevity Recognition Program for its growing roster of long-term employees. Multi Parts has always recognized employee longevity milestones with pay and in other ways related to compensation. Multi Parts Chairman Barry Cohn wanted to go further. “I wanted something instantly recognizable to say this is a long-term Multi Parts person. It says something about the person and hopefully, it says something about what we value.”
