MPS has completed the move into its purpose designed, newly constructed Global Headquarters. The facility brings together under one roof, MPS’ U.S. engineering and program management teams, R&D, laboratory, quality control and on-car testing labs. The new MPS Global Headquarters is located at 1649 Park Lane South, Jupiter, Florida, U. MPS President Brian S. Cohn commented, “This new building is all about flexibility and collaboration. It represents a significant step in our company’s evolution.”
MPS announced the 2014 recipients of the MPS scholarships, awarded through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (“GAAS”). MPS awarded a record, seven scholarships this year
The recipient of the $2,500 MPS International Aftermarket Scholarship is Cody Baum from Northwood University, Michigan Campus. His dream career is to work on the performance side of the aftermarket and possibly own a NAPA franchise, or a performance parts and service shop.
MPS used the occasion of the 2014 Global Aftermarket Automotive Symposium (“GAAS”), 2014 Connected Conference, to announce the MPS SPARK Initiative. Developed by the MPS senior management team, the SPARK Initiative’s purpose is to ignite deeper interest in the Automotive Care Industry, among the next generation of technical and executive professionals. The SPARK Initiative’s Inaugural event takes place at the 2014 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (“AAPEX”) Show, November 4th – 6th, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. For SPARK Initiative 2014, MPS is selecting six GAAS scholarship winners, providing each an all expense paid trip to the 2014 AAPEX Expo. SPARK selectees will be treated to an activity packed three-day industry immersion.
MPS announced Chase A. Navarre was recently named Director of Engineering Strategy. Chase is the newest member of MPS’ U.S.-based engineering team. The team develops and refines critical engineering and manufacturing processes to ensure MPS auto care parts continue to set the high bar for quality and innovation. A member of MPS’ leadership team, Chase is tasked with driving the strategic engineering and technology vision of the global auto care parts company.

MPS’ U.S. executive leadership, corporate administration, finance, engineering, program management teams, R&D, laboratory, quality control and on-car testing facilities will come together under one roof for the first time in the company’s more than 25 year history. MPS will also continue to maintain its integrated network of manufacturing and testing, logistics, quality control and customer support facilities in New York, Europe and China.
